A culinary destination for gourmands far and wide.Vincenzo La Montagna and his partner Lara Marro's passion for fine food and service have made Vincenzo's Cucina Vera a culinary destination for gourmands far and wide. Traditional Italian cuisine loaded with fresh regional flavours is enjoyed in a contemporary, refined space. 600 - day grain fed Kobe Beef with a 13+ marbling is house aged and air dried for 180 days - definitely worth trying along with the smallgoods, pasta, breads and gelati also made on site.

From the second we walked in the door the service was attentive and friendly. We had a drink at the bar before heading to our table. At this stage we hit the only flaw of the night - after opting for the degustation and matched wine option there was a long period where no food or drink was forthcoming. We would have ordered another drink if we had've been aware that there was going to be such a wait.
However, once the food started to flow the night was perfect. We tried some fantastic wines and each course seemed to get better. The highlights were the house made cured meats, the wild boar pasta, tuna steak and steak. The pasta was out of this world...
It was a long night, which was fine as we weren't in a hurry but we were well looked after - unlike many matched wine situations Vincenzos was not stingy.
As there is no menu I think we will return to see what else appears in front of us.
