Violet Town Farmer's Market

The large Violet Town Community market is said to be the best in North East Victoria with around 200 stalls selling farmers' produce as well as hot food, baked goods, coffee, plants, clothing, arts and crafts, a mini childrens' animal farm, in a recreation reserve. It is held on every 2nd saturday of the month, attracting 4000 patrons each month. It gets busier in the late morning. For the best selection, come early and allow several hours stay if coming from afar and if a leisurely pace is desired. There are a lot to see and try and buy. Market runs from 8:30-1pm.
