I recently went on a Virgin Australia flight to Hamilton Island from Sydney with my partner. I honestly haven't had a more straight forward flight experience. We boarded perfectly on time, left for take off about 5 minutes later and early then landed early. The whole journey was seamless and the staff were all so lovely. My partner was filming the landing out of the window and one of he stewards came over and cleaned the window for us so he could get better footage. They are more expensive than your budget carriers but it's so worth it, maybe not for a quick flight but anything longer Virgin are a must, their service is great!
Great to be able to use this when traveling in and out of Sydney. The fast check in from the drop off outside is very convenient and always treated with a smile.
Always good and drink available and generally enough seating but is bust around the times you expect - rush hour.
Good to able to have a cheeky drink before flying but they do ensure its not to early.
Having never previously been in the Virgin Lounge in Sydney Domestic Airport, I thought of a lot of good things about this place, so I must admit that I was slightly underwhelmed when I finally had my first visit here last month.

Am a regular tripper and enjoy checking in to the Virgin Lounge in Sydney.
A valet service is available if needed for locals.
It's a large open space with a good variety of food and drinks and everything you need to work or rest when awaiting your flight.
The service team are friendly and helpful and happy to get you on to an earlier flight if they can, or help with any changes that need to be made.
