Viva Italia Ipswich

Visited with my family for dinner. My chicken and pasta meal was VERY ordinary. The coating on the chicken was over cooked and left a burnt aftertaste. The fettuccine was like cooked packet fettuccine and the sauce was completely bland. I couldn't even salt it because the salt shaker was useless. After mentioning the meal, the kitchen staff came out and offered the meal at half price - in front of other people and without offering to replace the meal! Poor form. Service was a little slow and not all wait staffs were equally pleasant either. Very disappointing for an Italian restaurant. I won't be back.

Awful service. Booked well in advance. Took 45 mins to revive pizza & pasta from the $25 all you can eat option and even longer if you ordered from the menu. Staff were blunt & inflexible. Pasta was cold & not even close to authentic.... More like a packet of pasta with stir through sauce. Pizza hardly had topping & was so thin. It was embarrassing. We were there with about 20+ ppl.

I cannot stress just HOW bad the food quality, quantity and service was. A very disappointing night for us.

Next time....I'll read these reviews before eating out! :(

Inflexible service.



6 of us sat down to dinner on a Thursday night at 8pm and were told to hurry up and order at 8.25 because the were closing the kitchen. Food took it's time arriving and then at 9.30 pm, just after we had paid more than $160 for our meal (drinks are expensive!) they asked us to hurry up and finish our drinks as they wanted to go home!! Incidentally, no open/kitchen close info on their website.



Recommendation? Take your custom where it is appreciated. Not here!

Paid $25 for the "all you can eat" menu. Our table of 11 recieved 4 pizzas, which took forever to come out. Then so they didn't have to serve us more pizza they served the birthday cake. Don't bother with the all you can eat. once I worked out how much food I ate for $25 dollars it would have been better for me to buy a pizza and eat it myself.

Thanks so much for your amazing service. The Harry Potter party was a huge success.
