If I could vote a negative 5star, I would! I too was sucked in by false competition winner gimmicks.
I had hoped the prize may have meant a simple family photo of my two children and myself - something we’d never had the opportunity to have before.
Unfortunately we were ‘convinced’ through being in a room directly after the shots were taken of purchasing a three set package ($1500+) that I’m still paying off today, 18months later.
And I may have been somewhat ok with this if my photos were good, but instead they are so dark I cannot see one child’s face in them, I only had the choice of black and white over a black or white background, all photos were rushedly taken in about 15 minutes, in tacky poses (seriously lying on the floor with our ...read more

I ended up at Viva Photography Studio in Moonee Ponds quite by accident. If it wasn’t for the surprise call I received telling me I’d won a photo shoot, the door prize of the ultimate women’s weekend I’d attended a few months earlier, it would not have crossed my mind to do a shoot less than a year after I’d done one for my business. I pondered the idea and decided to do it as a gift to myself.

I have long been dealing with body image issues, and as I’ve been very focussed on learning to love me for me, this seemed like the perfect thing to do. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING! DO NOT be fooled into a gift voucher with a free sitting and credit towards photos because your credit will get you 1 photo! They don't tell you that 1 photo 8 x 10" costs $275. (plus GST) High pressure sales tactics offering lay by options so you spend up. They don't tell you about their no cancellation policies, no cooling off periods. No digital prints unless you order a minimum of 5 photos. You won't get your money back and you won't get anywhere complaining to the owner (franchisee). I lost hundreds of dollars, and not a single photo to show for it. I gave up fighting to get it back, I now warn others DO NOT make the same mistake. Take your money elsewhere. Read other reviews, they all operate the same way and many people have had the same thing happen.
