Vivace Restaurant

NEVER book with this Vivace. I had to cancel a booking for dinner for 6 of us tonight, as one of us found out this morning that she has covid. I rang as soon as I found out. I later received an email saying they deducted $150 from my credit card! The person I spoke to when cancelling did not tell me they would charge this fee.
I understand the need for a booking fee to stop people booking who do not show up, but this is daylight robbery. I tried to discuss it with them, but they were totally unsympathetic

Wonderful restaurant and great service! I really hope to return again soon and try some other delicious dishes.

Absolutely wonderful food. Staff are great, can get very busy but they restaurant is well laid out for that. Definitely worth a visit to. And always order a side of fries!

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside it is elegant and comfortable. Really nice food, great service and friendly staff.

Vivace is a nice little caf located in a nice town-like suburb of Brighton where street parking is free and local small shops are aplenty. Vivace itself is quite a proper casual bordering fine establishment, with just a decent amount of crowds in the shop.

With the exception of a full-pledge bar shelves, the decor is pretty minimal yet beautiful and thoughtful.

The service was excellent when we visited them for breakfast: it was quick and attentive.

We ordered both their signature breakfast and grande breakfast options. Despite the name, their signature breakfast had a bigger serving size than the grande, and also cost less. The signature breakfast (scrambled eggs and bacon) was nice, but the eggs in the grande breakfast (which also comes with mushroom) were not runny when cut. For drinks, my detox juice was freshly prepared and it was rejuvenating.

This caf also has free Wi-Fi (although it wasnt working when we visited).
