Vivaldi
Awesome venue if you’re looking for a place to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine. Everything that we had was delicious. The fried stuffed zucchini is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. If you love cheese, this is the perfect starter for you.
Pizza is amazing and the pasta is top notch.
Make sure to try their dessert when you’re there. We’ve had their cannolo and neapolitan cake. Both are indulgent and delightful. Seating area is large so it’s suitable for you to come with a large group of people.
Wait Time: No wait time at all, perfect timing between each dish, to ensure a comfortable pace, you would be asked whether you're ready for your next dish.
Service: Service was impeccable. We were warmly welcome the moment we walked into Vivaldi, greeted by the enthusiastic and friendly owner that provided us impeccable service and recommendations for food. The Italian kitchen and pizzeria aims to create their family culture and atmosphere. With a high ceiling and plenty of room decorated with a dark wooden theme for a comfortable homely dining experience, Raffaele (the owner's) entertains guests with his colourful stories and occasionally sitting down and having a drink and chat with ...read more
Vivaldi - Italian Kitchen & Pizza is up there as one of the best modern but traditional Italian restaurants in Sydney. Wood fired pizzas, pastas and a la carte mains to make you drool. If Matraville was only closer to Manly this place would be a regular of mine.
Full review is now up on Spooning Australia.
This eatery is located on Bunnerong Road. There may not be much choice in dining in this area but this place should be become a firm favourite if you're a local! The service is warm and like you've been invited over to an Italian family dinner.
The menu changes seasonally and there is a revolving chef's specials, hunter's choice, and fish of the day depending on what is fresh and available for the day.
The wood fired oven sits in one corner of this restaurant and emanates a glow of the flickering fire whilst delicious pizzas are brought out of it to feed ...read more
Family style Italian food - pizza, pasta and a warm atmosphere. We went on a Thursday evening and it was vibrant and busy without being overcrowded or too loud. We loved the look of the menu and sampled a couple of entrees and mains. We started with the fagioli all ucelletto - a rich dish of borlotti beans, veggie mix and a thick tomato sauce served with fresh baked bread. For mains we had the Spinacina pizza - a white pizza base with tomato, ricotta, spinach and parmesan. This pizza base was thin, crispy and easy to pick up and devour. The star dish for us came from the specials board and was a bowl of freshly made spinach pasta filled with ricotta in a tomato and basil sauce. The pasta was shaped like candy and felt like a treat with every bite. This was finished with the Vivaldi tiramisu - the perfect little end to a scrumptious meal. Vivaldi has only been open for about 5 months and is the labour of love from Raffaelle, who takes huge pride in the food ...read more
