Terrible customer service from a member of staff today. I was irritated by Vodafones policy where they cannot provide a loan phone which I was happy to pay the $200 fee for, when you claim on their replacement insurance. The guy I spoke to (tall, chubby with a goatee) really couldn't care less and started to raise his voice at me when I started to ask why knowing they had multiple loan phones sitting out back (as I had used one the week before and it wasn't an issue). He then walked away while I was still talking to him. Not his fault of Vodafones silly new policies but his customer service was shocking. Will be leaving Vodafone after this episode as soon as my contract finishes.
I went into the Vodafone Browns Plains store today. I wanted to ask when my plan was up and buy another phone. One sales staff was at the main counter at the back of the store with a customer. Two other sales staff were busy with customers at their computer screens in the kiosk in the middle of the store so I stood waiting next to them for 5 to 10 mins while they served them. In the meantime other customers came in, a few looked around and one lined up at the back. The staff I'd been waiting for finally finished with their customer and ignored me and walked to the back counter and started serving the person in line who'd come in after me. There's no 'queue here' sign anywhere. Why would a customer sit for ten minutes watching someone else get served? Ignoring someone who had waited patiently to be served for nearly 10 minutes is RUDE and BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was going to buy a phone but I walked out in disgust.
