Went to the Armadale salon...wasn't bad really, the staff were reasonably friendly. I had one person to do my colour and the other to cut. They use Redken products which I don't mind, and the colour turned out nicely. It took 2 and a half hours due to a few delays, but at least they didn't rush. My main criticisms: 1) they offered me a $220 package when I phoned up that included foils, cut, shampoo & blowdry, some sort of "treatment" + a bottle of argan oil. It wasn't really all the cheap compared to other places, and I didn't want foils. They still charged me for the foils even though I didn't get them done. I thought they might have either deducted the foils from the price or offered me an extra service for equal value but they didn't. Apparently this still worked out "cheaper" than the normal price - but it still cost me an extra $40 more than what I would have paid without the package. 2) They never offered me water/tea/coffee at any point and seemed a bit inattentive at times, ...read more
