Volume Hair

I have had my haircut a number of times here and have gone back because it is cheap, quick and hassle free. I have relatively thin hair and have gone in numerous times to have 3/4 inches cut off my hair, I've only ever been charged $30/$35 for the cut and have never had it blow dried after. This time I thought I would get it blow dried for an additional $35 because I was going out after. When I got up to pay my hairdresser and the gentleman runinng the front desk whispered between the 2 of them for a few seconds and then told me my cut was going to cost $90. When I asked how, because I always get the same cut and it has never been more than $35, they told me it was a "new style cut" which comes to $58 plus the blow dry. It was quite obvious this was done very sneakily as I had no change to the style of my hair other than I had a number of inches chopped off. The entire appointment took 15 minutes. Really disappointed. Have been here a few times, it’s cheap and I have minimal expectations. I had a hair cut and the guy hacked off an extra 3 inches than I requested. I was too shocked to say anything at the time, so I called and advised my feedback and to their credit, offered a free treatment. However I will never return. You get what you pay for.

Two of us went for the first time today. We were impressed. Nice friendly staff-quality haircut and colour at a good price.

I wouldn't recommend this place at all to a first timer looking for a quality colour. I requested a natural balayage and left with my hair bleached. Hairdressing is notoriously expensive and being the impulsive beast that I am I walked in for a trim after having a hair chewing gum disaster with a friend's child which resulted me in having to cut it out of my hair! I had a wash and a cut for $29 and was absolutely delighted with the result! Be clear on exactly what you want as blowdry is extra as are other treatments.
