My 2004 V50 is solid as ever. Would recommend most Volvos to anybody looking for premium european with better reliablity and running costs, just pick the right one.

Dealer wouldnt repair a vibration that was coming through the car. They confirmed there was a noise, and that they knew what was making it but that it wasnt loud enough when they heard it to repair it under warranty. Told us they could fix it for $2400.
Complained to Volvo HQ in Sydney and got told that we needed to deal with the dealership.

having owned a C30 T5 for a few months now, and had many Volvos before this one, I would not purchase another, yes they are fast. look ok.



The doors are very heavy, they are really only a 2 person car, even though there are 4 seats.

The finish in the car is poor, it has to go back to have some of the leather seating replaced, the boot is too small and the car is starting to make the good old plastic sound you know the rattle sound that cant be found.. There is a very bad blind spot with the rear pillar, the ride is ok, I would not purchase another one, if you thinking about buying one take it for a good drive, dont let the sales person rush you, and ask about all the extras because they will not tell you at point of sale before you buy, you may be able to include some of the extras in the package before you hand over your money which was not told to me............
