Wagaya
Wagaya is an izakaya, a Japanese cross between a bar and a restaurant.
That means it's a very casual eating atmosphere, often loud and definitely fun. All food is ordered off the touch screen menus and is delivered to the table very quickly.
A great, fun choice for Japanese food lovers.

Really enjoyed dining at this place. Plenty of booth seating, computerised order system which lets you order at will & dangerously add more! Friendly & efficient service and delicious food. I always enjoy good sushi & sashimi but I love the various skewers even more here. Yakitori, pork, beef & scampi are some of my favourites. I also love their hot pot, especially in winter or when you want something comforting. Its just that and loaded with lots of vegetables in a flavoursome broth. Great place with family or friends.
Wayaya Sydney is where it all started. Now a couple more of these have cropped up. And is always a pleasure to eat at. dragon roll with soft shell crab and also the takoyaki balls were a delight. My boyfriend enjoyed the mushroom spaghetti. The green tea ice cream was slightly disappointing but this is a fun one to go to on Saturday night and you can easily get a table. Good place to go for a few drinks and their lunch time special is good value.
If you want good Japanese food that's quick, come here. The ordering system is unique and you don't have to worry about the waiter getting your order wrong because it's all electronic and done by yourself. There's quite a big menu with a range of dishes, including vegetarian and ones for picky eaters. Overall, the food is amazing, but if you're on a budget, it's probably best to stay away.
