Walk About Creek Restaurant

A beautiful place for a morning out - not the cheapest but the location & ambiance is hard to beat, surrounded by trees and wildlife. Nearby walks through the forest & you can see kangaroos as well. Food and coffee were also pleasant, though they aren't anything to set it apart from a number of other nice cafes - the setting is most definitely the stand-out factor here.

Always good value in terms of a relaxed atmosphere and abundant wildlife. Service is quick, efficient and friendly. I have been here twice in the last month, once with my sister and her 3 year old, and again with my 15 year old son. Both times we weren't overly impressed with the coffee but thoroughly enjoyed the food, although my son did say that the meat pie he had was more gravy than meat but it looked and smelt great to me! Prices were reasonable and the menu selection small but varied. My sister brought Mum here for the Mother's Day breakfast buffet this year and both said it was excellent and worth the price and the ambience.
