I remember a while back I went looking for this pub because I had driven past it multiple times but had never actually stopped by to have a drink. Well, as it turned out it was undergoing some renovations, and the finished product is pretty impressive. Actually, I have been meaning to check this place out for ages and had never actually got around to doing so until much more recently. Anyway, the pub itself certainly has a lot to televisions, including the urinals, which means that you don't have to miss a sporting moment, or a wait for a break. The beer garden is pretty large, though with the new laws it is also non-smoking. Oh, and they also have a good selection of beers on tap as well.
Finally got around to heading there for the buffet lunch on Sunday and have to say I was not overly impressed. The food was good but I have to say not worth the price they charge, especially for a lunch time service. Dessert bar was cool with good variety and love that they are small portions. The chairs were horrible though, very uncomfortable despite having changed chairs 3 times. Beer garden is really nice though, great place to do drinks with friends or to watch a game on their giant flat screens.
Went here for 'kids eat free' on Sunday night only to be told kids didn't eat free anymore on Sundays, then to be told they did...Seems we were on the last Sunday they do that. The place was packed out, maybe everyone heard that!
There's a great range of food here, but it runs out really quickly and with so many people waiting you have to get in quick if you really want something. You will want some things like the burritos because they're delish, but avoid the roasts which are dry and tasteless. Salads are nice, Chinese is average - our table was split on whether the fried rice was great or gross (half thought each).
If it wasn't kids eat free then I don't think it would be worth it, it's fairly pricey.
