Now named Chevron Island Bar and Bistro we arrived for our lunch. Eventually our orders were taken!
Over an hour later our meals started to arrive. The first meals were eaten before the last ones even reached us. To add insult to injury when the meals were being brought out one of our party, was told there was no lamb so his order could not be fulfilled - did he want something else! After waiting this long, what do you think??
The food was good once we received it but the lack of service far outweighed our experience and will we not return.
Went to chevron island bistro for dinner the other night with a group of friends. Although it was busy we recieved excelent service, and the food was not only well priced but really nice, best pizzas we've had. We were also told they have half price menu every wednesday.
The place looks great, good atmosphere and great staff. Will be dining there regularly from now on.
Wallace has changed their name to Chevron Island Bar and Bistro and this week they had a half price lunch special. But they did not prepare for the extra business and hence we had very poor service - actually we had no service. We tried to place an order and the staff told us that there were other people waiting before us. Then a big table of eight people walked in ten minutes after us and they took their order before ours. We were not the only table not impressed. We ended up walking out.
A great place to relax with the Family. From when they first opened, I was very pleased with there hot plates of home made style cooking, and the cold beer, and now 2 yrs later, they are still going solid with the friendly service, and nights of bands and dancing. A truly happening joint after dark.
