Wallarah Bay Medical Centre

We made a booking for 12:10 (we were told it was 10 to 12, so we were 20 minutes early already). We then watched countless people arrive, be seen to and leave. After 45 mins, I asked the reception staff when we would be seen - straight away reception staff got very defensive, almost as though they had this conversation numerous times before and said we'd be next, and that the doctor is seeing to people in the order in which they booked. When I sat back down, a concerned man asked me how long I'd been waiting. I told him. He said his appointment was for 12:40, and he was really worried he'd have to wait ages too. 5 minutes later, the doctor comes out, and calls that very man into surgery. His appointment was for half an hour after ours, yet he went in before us? When we were finally seen by the doctor, I asked them what was going on - and doctor was very rude, offered no apology, and simply said that the gentleman "had been waiting for an appointment since 9am" ...read more
