I love this club, my children have been training with Joel for about 4 years now and they still enjoy training and learning new things each week. Joel himself is a true gentleman. He has a really good heart for a couple of years we have been unable to afford the insurance fees he has paid them for me out of his own pocket. You don't find too many people who'd do that for you!!!!!! He has always tried hard to keep up to date with current best practice and has always trained hard himself and keeps himself in fight condition!!!! He is a brilliant fighter but an even better instructor. What more do you want!!!!!
I have never found anyone as patient and caring for my child as joel is. His instruction is excellent as it his manner. He has taught my two children now for almost 1 and a 1/2 years and I would have to say that it is money well spent. He instructs not only about karate but about life as well. His real life senario training is a real eye opener to children and adults as alike. His 27 years of karate experience really shows as does his breathe of knowledge to the art of karate. He is also very well read on his art form. What more can I say but that if you want to learn from a true master ring him now and start you won't ever regret it.
I would have to say that after visiting a few other organisations I have never had my children feel as welcomed by a sensei as when the entered Joel's dojo.
He has a breathe of knowledge in the martial arts that only comes through years of reading and practise. He knows his stuff and after 27 years of training you'd expect him too. His research into areas such as fitness and pressure point fighting are second to none and he treats everyone with respect!!!!!! He is a true gentleman of the martial arts and he is fantastic with kids to boot.
