Wassail Wine Bar

A neat wine bar along the 'busy' area of Prospect road, came in with a friend and we caught up over a glass of red and antipasto. Friendly staff, semi-busy and nice atmosphere. Good location just on the outskirts of the CBD. Would come back to try more from the menu.

Small wine list with options. Very friendly staff. We ordered a variety of food and it was all good - the olives had several different types, the kumara chips came with a moreish aioli, the pork belly was delicious (but the rind could have been slightly crunchier), the kofte were fine but the little cheesy eggplant stack was amazing, the slow cooked lamb on giant cous cous was great. It all came out in a timely fashion.
