I have had a lot of work done on my watches at WatchWorld over the last 1-2 years:
- replacement of the tinted glass on my Rotary watch (which needed to be purchased in specially from the UK)
- getting my father's IWC watch working again (after several years out of action and when other jewelers / watch makers said they couldn't fix it)
- providing replacement leather wrist straps that were an excellent match for the watch
- replacing batteries
On every single occasion, I have found the quality and attention to detail excellent. I have also been impressed by the service - for example with the Rotary glass replacement I was kept informed of progress by SMS messages and had a clear understanding of the cost up-front.
Now when I need something done with my watch, WatchWorld in Chatswood Westfield is my first choice.
I was referred here to change watch battery and remove links and when I asked if they could remove links for free if I replaced watch battery (they said yes) then charged me for both anyway $10 for watch battery and $10 for removal of links. I won't be returning since any jeweller will do it for free if you are purchasing any of their items.
