Sold me some chlorine free chemical for my spa, went back 4 weeks later to solve an issue staff did not listen to what was the problem, person in shop made multiple calls to eventually tell me what I had told him, asked me to wait while served the customer after me. 45 minutes in the store.
ended up telling him the chemical I needed. Made mwe wait to pay. Charged me $40 for a chemical I can buy else where for $27. Wont be going back
Hi Gkutz1, I'm very sorry you've had such an experience. I'd like the opportunity to address the issue and make it up to you. Unfortunately Christams and New Year are very busy times for us and we do employ casuals to help out who may not have had the experience that our regular staff do and which was necessary to address your particular issue. For an issue such as yours, it may have needed to be referred to myself or one of the other more senior persons. Re the chemical, sometimes chemical qualities, strengths, brands etc quite different, even though they initially appear the same. Some have special polymers added to reduce side effects etc and this adds costs. In any case, as I said, I'd really like the opportunity to make it up to you, so if you would contact our store and leave your contact details with our staff, stating that Russell has specifically asked for you to leave contact details re an unhappy experience, I will surely return your call and look after you.
Finally a pool shop that knows what they're talking about! Have had so many dramas with my pool over the last few months, went in to Waterama and it's fixed. They knew what the problem was right away, their friendly service and advice is second to none especially after what I've received at other pool shops. Thanks Waterama you have my business from now on and I highly recommend you to everyone who owns a pool.

Thanks for your great review and encouragment. We do work hard to try to be the best in the industry and look after everybodies differing needs.
Like so many businesses are unfortunately, these guys are so helpful when selling and giving advice for which you need to buy something, but when there's a problem or they need to remedy a mistake, they don't return calls, don't deliver on promises, and ignore any communication attempts other than face-to-face. I've been a loyal customer here for many years but recently one of their contractors didn't deliver as promised, and gave advice which has made the situation worse. Waterama have completely wiped their hands of the problem, despite being the ones who were more than happy to take upfront payment and make promises about the contractors obligations which they're now not willing to uphold. Find another pool shop people. I used to think the service was worth paying that little bit extra, but it's not. You need to find a pool shop who's with you through the good and the bad.

I am very aware of the situation you are referring to and am sorry you feel this way. As I said in previous instances, when you elect to buy your product from Bunnings and attempt the fix yourself after our contractor has called, we really cannot be held responsible for the outcome. However, as I said previously, we are still happy to call to your property to give assistance on how you can now move forward. But unfortunately, you have not accepted our invitation - even not being present at your property when we have made arrangements to call and meet you there.
