I went for lunch yesterday & staff members were very unfriendly & rude, it made lunch very unpleasant. 1 staff in particular couldn't smile, slammed plates overall one of the worst expireneces I have ever had.
Food was fresh, well presented & enjoyable. Coffee was ok, but a little inconsistent. Will not be returning & will happily voice my distaste to friends & family.
Well what can I say, I have been to this lovely cafe many times, with my family including my two small pooches, food is generally good and staff are normally friendly . But our experience today left a bad taste in my mouth. From the moment we arrived the staff made it clear we were an inconvenience . I don't think I have ever experienced such bad attitudes and rudeness . I think it might be fair to say it may be time for a career change for the staff working here . It saddens me to say I don't think I will be coming back again :(
Waterfall cafe!! Want a funky little place at Mt Penang. We heard about this place through word of mouth. Then looked up some reviews and were a bit cautious but were meeting friends from Sydney so was a meeting point. Don't listen to the bad reviews, clearly they just exaggerate and are difficult!! Great coffee, very enjoyable menu, attentive staff, great value and a gorgeous spot. Apparently they have had new blinds put in and heaters which make it cosy on winter mornings. Will definitely be back and spread the word. Coast needs more little places like this. And you can go for a nice walk in the gardens after!!
