Waterfront Port Melbourne

We were charged $15.00 for two coffees here. This is even after I reconfirmed with the waiter that "we only had two (x2) coffees". The Indian waiter sturnly re-confirmed this was the correct price. Their website actually lists a coffee at $4.50 as per their online Menu. Average $7.50 coffees each anyone??

Yes fantastic location, refreshing area to have fresh seafood. Very much enjoyed my time here at Waterfront in Port Melbourne. Felt really nice being seated in the restaurant. Enjoyed the lovely view as we booked for dinner just before the sun was setting so got to watch the sun go down and the pinkish sky. Lucky we asked for this view during reservations. I can imagine the great view during a lunch on a day that is clear blue skies. My dish was refreshing as it looked and the service was great. Enjoyed my experience

Wonderful waterfront location serving delicious seafood. Everything was beautifully-presented and service was refined. Pricing was high even by local standards but certainly worth a visit for a special occasion or a little indulgence.

On Friday night, with no reservation, we were shown to a great table with a view. On better inspection it's pricey, so we ordered the 'winter warmer special' (entree&main $80) which we thought would be better value but it depends on what you order. For main: there is mud crab or lobster with a choice of sauces and lots of entrees to choose from, braised pork was outstanding. We found the ambiance was relaxing and romantic and the waitstaff were friendly and responsive to our requests. If you love seafood like we do, it's worth visiting for sure.

Food was average had the swordfish. Okay dinning not in any hurry to come back.
