Love their all you can eat nice place enjoyed relaxed kids happy there too

I can't remember what this place used to be call, but I can remember it being a pretty popular night spot when I was a kid. I even came here more recently, though that was still quite a few years back. So, having come down to Glenelg much more recently I decided to check it out and it certainly looks like it has undergone a huge makeover. Not only do they have a large gaming room, sports bar, and restaurant, but there is also accommodation out the back. When I came here recently it wasn't hugely crowded, which was good because it meat I got a decent seat out in the beer garden. They didn't have anything all that fantastic on tap either. Despite the New Years Eve crowds (though I came here fairly early), I was served fairly promptly, and as I suggested, also got a decent seat.

the food here is very average. but its satisfying for a buffet meal. the kids think its brilliant because they can choose. but to go for a meal with a small group its not got an intimate feel because the venue is so large.

the drinks prices are pretty good - considering other restaurants.

its good value for money, as there are lots of over priced restaurants out there that dont deliver anything near what this place does.

There is a difference between 'full' and 'satisfied'. You'll leave the buffet here full, but not satisfied. No real standout dishes, infancy a couple of not really nice ones. Desserts are probably the highlight. Good value except they charge the earth for drinks.
Chipped in half a star more than I would have because they give a generous gift to charity every year (25c per adult meal, about $30-40k annually), which is worth rewarding them for, but I won't be rushing back here for the food.
