Waves Seafood Grill

We went to waves over New Year 2011. I had a great Scotch Steak and a my wife had an equally impressive Seafood Risotto. The area was well air conditioned and open. So why, may you ask would they spoil the experience by adding a secret fee for having the nerve to ask for mustard to go with the steak. Having eaten In many countries over many years I have never experienced this sort of behaviour. Its positively Faulty Towers. Excellent food spoilt by management.

I've just seen the older entrys here and NOW they are far from right. The Staff are friendly and The food is amazing. I didn't feel like sitting in the resturant but they were more than happy to do anything on the menu for takeaway! I got Seafood Pasta and a Wonderful desert. I recommend Waves to everyone and will go back again and again.

Waves Restaurant has been under new ownership since April 2008 and is a great place to visit while in Margaret River. This Restaurant has recieved a couple of favourable write ups and gets many compliments from it's very happy customers.

Fresh produce is always used and the food is cooked to order. The menu features a great range of fresh seafood including a seafood platter for 2 people with a selection of both hot & cold seafood. There is homemade pasta, great steaks and yummy homemade desserts. The staff are genuinely friendly with real smiles. And it's BYO alcohol, so you can take what you want to drink!

Didn't like the food, the first time I have ever had Osso Bucco had the flavour of wet sponge.

Service? what service. took 40 minutes to get our drinks, this was after we tackled one of the waitresses. Food took 1 hour and 10 minutes to arrive. we weren't game to ask for a 2nd round of drinks.

If your thinking they were busy - when we arrived there were 10 tables with patrons seated,the largest table had 8 people. When we asked where our drinks were, there were six tables left.

there is no well oiled machine here, they do not work as a team.
