Waves Seafood Restaurant

As the bridesmaid of a close friend I looked to book a nice venue close to home. We chose Waves Cronulla and as i am typing am still so embarrassed about the whole situation. We booked for 18 (16 turned up) and I was there early to ensure everything was ready to go. We were greeted by our waiter for the night and they seemed very friendly. They explained to us that it was $37 for 2 courses or $42 for 3 courses. Everyone ordered and we were having fun. We BYO'd 6 bottles of wine (for which they charged us $8 corkage per bottle - a little pricey if you ask me). Unfortunately the meals were terrible. One woman asked for steak Diane with the sauce on the side which they were not happy about as they "would have trouble putting that into the computer". After the meal the mother of the bride asked for a cappuccino but the waiter asked her if she could choose something else as cappuccino's are so "fiddly" and they "really hate making them" We could not believe this!! 3 of ...read more
