Wayside Hotel

I love this pub. Okay, it is a little out of the way and can take a little bit to get to, but it is these pubs that tend to be the best because they tend to attract only the really dedicated ones. There is a lovely beer garden down the side, and some great beers on tap as well. Okay, it was a shame that it was closed down around the Christmas break, especially when a friend and I were wandering around South Melbourne checking the place out. However, when it is open it does tend to be quite chilled and laid back.

Everything is perfect. The food, the staff, the outdoor area. Great for functions or a quiet dinner.

Had a fabulous meal here, 6 of us all raved about the food. Divine handmade pasta, great food and wonderful serving staff, a great night - we'll be back.....
