Horrible experience. we spent over $12k on a dual heating/add-on cooling unit. Said would be installed on a friday but they turned up at 2pm and said they couldn't do it, no heating for long weekend but they didn't seem to care. kicked around the ducts they would be installing, no respect for equipment. They left tacks on our kids trampoline. The internal intake grille was damaged (no surprise) but they installed it anyway. They were meant to show us how to use the unit but they left before showing us and did not bother making an appointment to show us. They were very quick to call and request payment but then took over two months to attend to our complaints. May be a touch cheaper but just not worth it.
We had a new heater installed, our 10 year old brivis decided to give up the ghost and needed replacing. Tom came out and gave us a competitive quote on a new braemar, he said weatherworld was a family owned business in the industry for over 30 years. Everything Tom said would happen, did happen! The installation went very well and we definitely recommend weatherworld to others.
I've scouted around for several places who supplies and installs A/C split system in Melbourne. Finally I found one that is in Nunawading. The sales manager Ron is very helpful person and found me a good quote. My split system was quoted at a reasonable price due to the extension pipes and double storey installation. The work was done after the Christmas break with 3 people (electrician and installers) for a Mitsubishi Electric split system. They came at 9.00 am and finished the work at 1.00pm. Relatively fast and efficient.
