During the last 4 or 5 years, I've had my car serviced regularly at Wembley Autocare and cannot speak highly enough of their professionalism, attentiveness and genuine interest and care in my car.
Very helpful and explain what needs to be done and highlight urgent matters over non-urgent areas to be repaired allowing me to budget accordingly. I feel very confident leaving my Mazda 3 to their experienced mechanics.
Friendly service and I highly recommend.
Best mechanics ever! Their customer service and communication is top notch. Over the years, Wembley Autocare have looked after my faithful friends - Jeremy Jag,'Col' Colorado ute,Suzy Suburu, Bertie Beemer (BMW). Whether we drive in or arrive on the back of a tow truck, they always have my four wheeled friends back on the road asap and at a cost that doesn't me weep salty,rust-inducing tears all over the bonnet of my anthromorphised motors.
Wembley Autocare are seriously the best mechanics in Perth! They guys are so friendly & most importantly completely honest. I rang up to ask about power steering fluid levels & they said to bring it in for a quick check. When I arrived one of the owners checked all my levels, lights & tyres and even topped up my fluids for free. This kind of service is so old school and great :) I really really appreciate you guys helping me (a pretty mechanically clueless 31 year old female about to go on a big road trip). I will bever change mechanics & would recommend you to anyone that asks.
I used them for regularly since they had good review .I had my Honda civic serviced here couple of days ago. They called me up and said that the spark plugs needs replacing and this make of car needs platinum spark plugs(lie). And if it was normal spark plugs it's free with service.
I trusted then and let them do the work( big mistake).
Straight after service I got the car checked by red tape car inspection at Osborne park.
And was notified with following issues.
1)all lights was not working. (they didn't check ...read more
following my review . Mr Patric from Wembley Autocare contacted me and explained that the supplier had quoted them excessively for the spark plugs and he made a refund. I feel that my experience was just one off and Wembley Autocare has high priority for customer satisfaction.
Hi Anoop. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and for taking the time to speak with me on the phone recently.
As discussed on the phone, I'm very sorry about the excessive price for your spark plugs. Your Civic doesn't take standard copper-tipped spark plugs but does take the far more expensive Iridium plugs. We usually refer to these as Platinum plugs because more people are familiar with this term than Iridium. Unfortunately, Iridium/Platinum plugs aren't included as standard in a service as they are far, far more expensive that copper spark plugs. The price we quoted you was based on the recommended retail price from our supplier as you saw from the screenshot we sent you. As you pointed out, Repco is running a special on these plugs at ...read more
Regarding the lights not working, checking all of the vehicle lights is one of the first things we do in a service and I can see from the job card that at the time of the service all lights were checked and found to be working. When you returned, we discovered that there was a loose connection in one of your tail-lights. Just to be safe, we replaced the globe free of charge. If it ever fails again, please let us know and we will look into it further for you.
Regarding the tear in the sway bar link bushes, unfortunately, in our view, Red Tape were simply wrong to flag this as an issue. There was a minor tear in it - yes. But it was certainly not a safety issue or an issue affecting the reliability or handling of the car at all. It likely would have been fine for many more years to come. Again, as a gesture of goodwill, we replaced them for you the next day despite the fact that it was a big job and we were solidly booked out that day and for the following week.
We have had to post our reply in 3 parts because TrueLocal does not allow long replies. But thank you again for leaving a review and for taking the time to talk with me on the phone. We appreciate all feedback and we try really hard to look after everyone and give everyone peace of mind for their car.
My old mechanic was busy on the day I needed a service so I thought I would give you a shot. I thought all mechanics were the same but you were like night and day. It was really nice dealing with the lady behind the counter. She was so friendly and even though the phones were ringing like crazy she spent time explaining everything to me. I really felt comfortable with you guys. Good job.
Hi Fiona. Thanks for letting us look after your car. Moira - the lady behind the counter - is a star and she, like the rest of us, loves looking after all of our customers and their cars. We're pleased we were able to exceed your expectations. If there's anything we can do to help look after your car, just let us know.
