Werribee Mercy Hospital

This is a hard one !!!! The staff are DEFINITELY overworked, which makes waiting times incredibly long. But I've had BOTH of my parents in and out of Werribee Hospital over the last few years. And whilst they were admitted I couldn't fault the staff, the nursing staff aware absolutely beautiful.
In the last 11 months I have lost BOTH of my parents, My father was the first, due to his illness he had to be transferred to another hospital. But my mother passed in July and Werribee Hospital were beautiful, we were allowed all the time we needed to be with her so we got to spend the last moments with her until she passed. The staff were all very compassionate and went out of their way to make sure my mum was comfortable and that we had all the resources to help us cope.

The outpatient clinic staff are fantastic. Even though you can see they are under staffed, and are so busy, they still try and give patients the best they can. They are polite and welcoming, and I felt the put patients first.

If you love your family drive the extra km's and take your family to a hospital that cares about their patients. The emergency staff are disgusting ... not only cant they work out whats wrong but they are happy to laugh in your face over things that really worry you. I how ever did notice while there that all the non australians where being treated with respect....funny that. Absolutely Disgusted Mother .....

I was referred to emergency for an abscess on my coccyx. I couldn't walk, sit or sleep properly for 4 days. I was there from 10 am -9:30 pm. I can honestly say it was the best hospital experience I've ever had. All the staff at the C2 ward were absolutely amazing and so grateful for being able to walk out of the hospital within 12 hours. Very pleased with this service can't thank everyone enough.

I had a operation at werribee hospital and would like to say a BIG thank you to all the staff C2 ward including cleaners. They made me feel comfortable the food was lovely and hospital was clean.
