West Ryde Service Centre

Please be very careful of using these mechanics. I brought my car to them due to leaking coolant. I was quoted $500 for parts to replace thermostat housing and $900 for the total job. After pcking up the car I drove it and ended up having the car totally stop on the side of the road late at night. After calling roadside assist, they told me that a plug was missing from the transmission cable which caused the car to stop, this plug was in the exact loaction the mechanic accessed to repair my original leakant job. My car had to be towed back to them and I had to Uber home. Due to my lack of trust after this incident I called Holden to find the price of a thermostat housing that they had changed for me. Holden quoted $232 including GST. This was more than half what these mechanics quoted or charged me. Mechanics at West Ryde service centre were asked to check everything under the bonnet. They did not change the spark plugs. On my next service they were checled and down to the coils. I am extremely disappointed with the deceitful mechanics that were recommended through friends of a friend. They changed brakes on wheels and tyres, cost myself a decent amount of money too, just to find they missed the spark plugs. Most female car owners are not expected to check the spark plugs themselves. It is a service I paid for and did not at all receive. Terrified that I payed them at all.

Worst service center in the area..
I took my car to fix a engine shaking issue and the cigarette lighter (i suspected that may b just a fuse went off). The mechanic told me that the engine mounts torn out...and quoted me 1500 bucks! to fix it..,then suggested me to do some servicing which will charge me 150 bucks , and the shaking issue will be reasonably solved..., i did pay them 150 bucks...,but the problem wont get any better. The most shocking thing was when they wanted to charge me 100 bucks for changing the fuse ...of the cig lighter..which will cost them max 5 bucks...! and max 5 mins!
