Incredibly disappointed and frustrated! Referred to Waves Dermatology by my regular vet due to my dogs skin condition. Was not provided with any expectation of cost minus the initial consult fee of $200. I was provided with an costing 'estimate' AFTER they had already done the works (giving me no options), totally $1100+. Included in that was wastefulness, providing me with antibiotics that after 3 days when the results came back were not the right ones and I had to buy more. I understand speciality treatments come at a cost but consideration that I am not a millionaire and would need to prepare for the excess costs would have been appreciated. In addition, I have used their emergency services before, on another occasion for my other dog which I found very good.

Fabulous premium emergency & referral veterinary service. We are so lucky to have this as an alternative to the also excellent Murdoch Vet Hospital in Perth. Even for a non acute emergency (i.e. escalating problem in the small hours) there was total care & interest & persistence & deep questing to get to the bottom of it for the next 24 hours. Absolutely impressive staff & facilities. They could take the investigations to any level but were also willing to not do so where waiting might yield an answer. You do need deep pockets or good Animal Health Insurance for this premium service but I did witness another customer being given a compassionate discount. Even the animals in various states of need & examination were all calm in this quietly efficient environment.
I totally trusted them with my best little four footed friend.

WAVES were fantastic during a difficult time. I had hoped I'd never have a pet emergency, but I found the neighbours dog involved in a hit and run. We took Smoothie to WAVES and the staff were compassionate, professional and kind from start to finish. A very big Thank You to the WAVES staff.
