Westfield Carindale

Great shopping centre with lots of shops and good parking.

Probably the easiest Westfield to find a carpark at, so that gets a big tick from me. The centre has a pretty decent range of shops but it does seem a bit tired compared to Garden City and Indooroopilly since their refurbishments.

Easy parking, great variety of shops and fantastic modern eatery.

Westfield Carindale is possibly the closest Westfield you can get to from Brisbane CBD. Located around 30 minutes away by a bus ride from the city, this Westfield occupies a very large land, and then some. There is the main building where most of the things are, and then there is a separate home & leisure complex across the street for brands that usually sell large appliances.

Inside the main mall itself is a different experience. Whilst some parts are still looking old-school (including the bus interchange area) some have already been renovated and look quite modern. The shops occupy two expansive levels of retail shopping and relatively large casual dining area (aka food court). It is indeed quite large and does take a while to cover the entire footprint.

In terms of added atmosphere, there are buskers in the centre to entertain the shoppers. There is also valet parking service being offered for added convenience.

The shopping centre is great. The centre management is also tip top. Love this shopping centre
