Westfield Miranda

Since they have done up the westfield it has almost everything you could ask for. Great range of shops. They also now have nice eating area, with outdoor restaurants as well.
The no ticket carpark is a great feature too

So many shops and newley updated. Took me a while to get my head around it. Well done and several information desks will help you get around. The food court in the base is great. Feels very european. Unfortunately parking is no longer free and cars get tracked via number plate so just driving out to than back in again wont work ;-)

As the biggest shopping centre in The Shire area, Westfield Miranda has now gone so much better thanks to its recent refurbishments. One of the wings has been extended to feature a highly furnished, premium-look atmosphere, with a lot of global brands occupying the space such as Chanel and Dior, the long-awaited Myer to now compete with the long-standing David Jones, and a new food court to complement the old food court on the other edge of the centre, as well as outlets like Din Tai Fung (opening soon).

The place is looking fantastic after they have upgraded end 2014. Unfortunately though parking is no longer free (i guess they are trying to offset the cost of doing up the place) which means you get only 3 hours (not enough time to check out the whole place after the major renovation).

I will no longer go to Miranda as it is too big to stake out and i hate being restricted to with time and i can not justify paying for parking. In addition to all that regardless of the time limit finding parking in Miranda is always a nightmare as well as trying to get out sometimes you could be literally stuck in one spot with out moving for 30 mins or more (happened to me twice).
