This is another one of those pubs that I really didn't like at all. Okay, they have this really nice balcony that you walk through to get to the pub, but once inside I found that the staff were less than impressive. In fact the girl that served me came across as downright rude. The pub itself is nothing fantastic, being a part of a small shopping strip across the road from the railway station. While the balcony is quite nice, it still seemed to be pretty tacky in my mind, as was the interior. Basically it is a sports bar, VIP lounge, and a restaurant all rolled into one, as well as a place to grab a quick drink. As for me I grabbed my quick drink and then made my way elsewhere.
A MAN was tasered by police at a pub after allegedly waving a broken bottle at a security guard in western Sydney.
Police used a taser gun on the man in his 30s after he allegedly became aggressive toward security and threatened them with a broken bottle at the Westmead Tavern on Railway Parade about 9.50pm.
The man was treated at the scene by paramedics, but his injuries did not require him to be taken to hospital.
No security guards or patrons were injured from the incident.
Police confirmed the man was taken into custody.

Hey how we all going as I found the Westmead Tavern hidden in a group of shops across from the westmead train station. The tavern has various beers on tap plus friendly staff & a bistro also with has awesome food, there is live entertainment on various nights & I got to meet some interesting local characters. Don't forget they have a special friday arvo BBQ from 3pm to 5pm.
