I've been with Westpac 20 years. I got my home loan in 1996. I was disgusted by lack of customer service July 26, 2016; I'm sending formal complaint to Bank Manager July 27, 2016 telling the frustration/difficulties I encountered. One staff member (whose name I have as she finally answered ONE OF MY THREE PHONE CALLS) couldn't care less when I telephoned. She said everyone was busy serving customers - I'M SORRY I THOUGHT I WAS A CUSTOMER. If you don't want your job by providing customer service then you shouldn't be employed, I'm sure there are plenty of other people that would like a job. I have FIVE ACCOUNTS (three savings, one mastercard & one visa/altitude card) & I'm not suffering due to lack of customer service (phone calls are lodged in my phone as a record) I had to pay an account by a certain time, all three times my phone call went to voice mail (saying leave a message) NOT GOOD ENOUGH WESTPAC, I NEEDED SERVICE, I SHOULDN'T ...read more
