We recently received very poor customer service from this branch. Having discovered that our offset mortgage hadn't actually been offset for 3 years, we set out to recover the interest. Wow, that was hard work! After 6 weeks of phonecalls, buck-passing and promises that the management was on to it and would keep us up to date, we reluctantly jumped on social media to get some action from them. We finally got a result once the Adelaide mortgage centre stepped in and started dealing with the issue. It took nearly 8 weeks to correct a mistake that was so obviously theirs. Even though the problem was eventually resolved, this was a massive customer service fail. Currently looking around to remortgage with another lender as this has really tarnished our experience with Westpac.
