Whale Bone Wharf Seafood Restaurant

Whale Bone is one of the best seafood restaurants in Port Macquarie. I proposed to my fiancee here and the staff were unreal at keeping the secret and making it special. I've also brought visitors from Greece and Lithuania here and they were a little disappointed at the menu selection. Once we ordered for them, however, and they saw and tasted their meals they have not stopped talking about it since. I agree that it can be expensive but I believe it is worth it for the overall experience. Perhaps some small adjustments to the decor (to create some more intimacy) would help others to see that too.

Brilliant absolute waterfront setting, delicious seafood favourites prepared by an expert team of staff. One of Port's best. A little on the expensive side though... take a wallet full of cash!

Expensive, not always so enjoyable food. Lack of consistency, nice one visit, but maybe not so the next. Alcohol overpriced, all I can say is there are much better restaurants in town to visit.
