Chicken Quesadilla didn't look or taste like it was cooked properly with undercooked kidney beans, corn etc and no sauce or seasoning in the Quesadilla. The chicken was lukewarm and tasted like it was reheated from the pre-cooked chicken you can buy in vacuum sealed plastic bags. It was so bad I had to eat something from somewhere else to get rid of the awful taste in my mouth. There was no offer of a refund following my complaint. The dips were runny which makes me wonder if they were watered down? The place was noisy and not relaxing at all despite being on the waterfront. Poor customer service left a lot to be desired. My advice to Wharf Shed Cafe - offer less meals so you can concentrate on quality.
Went in and waited for a longggggggggggggg time before our order came. Then it was broken up into parts which only wasted more of my time. Ambiance does not really exist. The only positives are the serving portions and the quality of the food which are commendable. It is only the latter two that may possibly see me return
Always a little uncertain of what I'm going to get, as there are times when the service/food is a little haphazard. Generally a pretty cheap and cheerful sort of a place with the young maitre d being a highlight of any visit. His polite, professional manner really helps to set you in the mood, even if you do end up waiting for drinks. All in all an alright spot to take the family if you don't want to break the bank.
Waited 30 minutes to place our order while the table next to us that arrived 15 minutes later ordered first. We were not even asked to order or communicated with once we received our first drink order. I politely asked a waiter if we could order, pointing out that the table the waiter had just taken an order for arrived 15 minutes after us and the response was very rude, shoving his notepad into a passing waiters hand and rushing over to our table in a huff, and taking our order, stabbing at his paper as he wrote, clearly angered at having even been asked to do his job. Ironically he became lovely again once we mentioned tips to get his name. Food was great especially the garlic bread!! EXCEPT!! Our friend who was lactose intolerant recieved a pizza with cheese which had to be redone and i recieved a beef burger instead of the lamb pizza i ordered which also had to be replaced. Service was okay once the waiter readjusted his attitude, would have been better if had he ...read more
