This little cafe has a real old style charm about the place, though it is not actually trying to be a coffee shop from the sixties, but rather a trendy place in Adelaide's inner city. Okay, I haven't been down this part of Adelaide for a long time, so I don't know how long it has been around, but it does remind me of places that I would expect to encounter in inner Melbourne. It is a lovely place for a quiet cup of tea (or coffee, whatever you prefer) and this part of Goodwood isn't necessarily all that crowded. Mind you, it isn't the cheapest place that I've been to, and the water that they used in the tea wasn't filtered (namely because it left a bad aftertaste in my mouth), but it was still a great place to spend fifteen minutes reading my book. I should also mention that they also have a nice selection of cakes to go with your drink as well, and if you like trams, you can see the tram line from here as well.
