Unless you are want to be treated like an absolute dog, do not go to the White Beach Tourist Park. You will feel like you have enrolled at Boot Camp the moment you report to reception and if your children are squealing in delight because they happen to start having fun, be prepared for them to be shot at dawn. The last straw for us was when we were told that our friends were charged $2.50 for the use of power and extension lead to recharge their flat car battery - more fool them for camping at an unpowered site. This was after we were told at midday to remove our packed-up vehicle from the relatively empty camp grounds and leave it in the visitors carpark as we had only booked for two nights and all sites needed to be vacated by 10am. White Beach is fabulous, White Beach Tourist Park is frightening. Be Afraid, be very afraid.
