I remember coming here once a number of years back for lunch while on our way to Melbourne, however I am still fairly vague about the whole experience. However on my recent trek across country, and also discovering that the last pub didn't have any meals, I decided to check this place out. Okay, there wasn't a huge menu, and the kitchen was closed (actually the menu consisted entirely of a ham and cheese toastie, which I accepted). This is a nicer pub that the last one I visited, somewhat less commercial. The bartender was also a typical country bar tender, always very helpful, and incredibly chatty. They even have a really nice beer garden out the back and I checked out, but due to the heat decided to have my lunch inside. I have to say it's a nice pub, but don't expect any of the city experience here.
Never again will we ever step a foot in that place. We waited an hr & 45 minutes before we went & got a refund on our meals that never came out. Very unsatisfactory.....
(I only put half a star because I had to.Other than that,I wouldn't have given it any rating at all).
