Having used this mechanic a few times now, we have found them to be extremely reliable and fair in pricing. A job that was quoted over $2000 by the dealer, cost us little more than $200 to have done by Whitelaw automotive using the exact same parts as quoted by the dealer and came with the same warranty, which has not been needed.
We recently had a breakdown that we feared was going to be very expensive, they fitted us in right away, regardless of their heavy workload, and had us back on the road within 24 hours. The bill was astounding, Lance talked us through all of the work performed and the parts list as invoiced, we couldn't believe that such a major repair cost so little. We rang around a few other places afterward for 'quotes' for the same repairs, all of the quotes were many hundreds of dollars more than we had just paid.
