For one of the cheaper hotel options Whitsunday Apartments is decent. The apartments themselves are really spacious with a great view and large comfy beds. The guy on check-in, Micah, was really great and helped us with any questions we had. The issue with these apartments are the fact that they seem to be separated from everything else on the island. There's no restaurant, the dinghy boats and other activities aren't included and there's no access to Hamilton island wifi. Another problem was the patrons it attracts. Both evenings we spent there there were huge groups partying through the night, yelling at you from their balconies and generally carrying on. It really didn't suit the setting and made it hard to get a good nights sleep.
