This hairdresser has all of the positives of a local, suburban salon. Unlike many of the chains in town, there is no sense of being on a production line. The cutting is competent, and the atmosphere is unpretentious. Hexie and Rochelle are friendly and forthright and don't try to upsell you in every other sentence. I was there for a cut on a Saturday morning, and they were busy, but not so busy that they weren't keeping up. I noticed that most of the clientele were repeat customers (always a good sign!). Afterwards I headed around the corner to the Billy Kart kitchen for a delicious coffee & light lunch. Definitely a 5 star experience!
