This realestate is pathetic. I let them manage my investment property. Needless to say inspection reports were not carried out properly, exit reports were left not properly filled. The tenants they put in were repulsive people who tore the house apart, and then also breached their contract. I ended up evicting all of the tenants that Wide Bay Prestige put into my property. Do NOT let them handle your investment property, that also goes for LJ Hooker in Maryborough.

Never again. This agency is happy to take your money every month but little else. We received the inspection reports declaring that our house was in good order during tenancy and it wasnt until we did our own inspection that we realised this was far from the truth. We have had holes in the walls not declared, (presumably a bull bar from a car in the garage_ we had our carpets replaced, fly screens replaced, holes dodgily repaired and painted the wrong colour. Whilst they did admit liability to some extent as a result of their staff not completing the inspections properly they did little else to remedy the situation. There wasnt much point in pursuing it with the office or fair trading given the time and stress involved, or claiming on our insurance given our premiums would rise, instead we made suitable tax deductions.
