Wiffens Fruit & Vegetables

Wiffens is located at Fyshwick and Belconnen Markets. I usually shop at the Fyshwick Markets outlet. They sell fruit, vegetables, groceries and flowers. I used to own a restaurant and they also are fruit, vegetable and flower wholesalers.

I fairly recently moved from Sydney to Canberra and have been looking for a good greengrocer... Though they do try bless them cafes and restaurants in Canberra I have been to have not been so good (except for Silo!) .. so I have been eating at home alot. I tried shopping at the Farmers Markets, Southside and EPIC but I was not impressed with the ambiance (car park/stall chic) or the quality of the produce, then I tried all the greengrocers at Fyshwick Markets. Wiffens is the best of the bunch. It has high quality produce and a really good range as well as wonderful fresh and cheap flowers. Fruit and Vegetables I buy at Wiffens seem to last a long time, and they have some good grocery lines too like country valley organic milk their lite milk. I thought everything food related was better in Sydney (sorry except for Silo) but there is nowhere like this in Sydney.
