MAPM International Pty Ltd was formed in Melbourne in 1996 and was initially involved in trading of non branded (generic) footwear to countries other than Australia namely Russia and South Africa. During the 90's there was significant changes introduced to the Australian footwear industry which opened up opportunities for niche brands to be developed and introduced that were highly competitive, fresh and appealing alternatives for the Australian market-place. The "wildrhino" brand was then created to offer Australian men great casual shoes that are light, strong, fit well and look great especially with jeans.

The range of products began with high quality boat and walking shoes and quickly developed credibility within the industry as a competitive supplier offering great products of comfort and style with international quality but at the same time not charging absorbadently high prices as other brands with less product features and benefits in their shoes compared to wildrhino footwear.

Over the next few years "wildrhino" product ranges has continued to grow significantly and is now a major supplier of footwear both in Australia and overseas. The team is committed to aggressive product development and is always striving to offer you contemporary footwear that not only look good but are great to wear.
