Generally, a good range of non perishable items but prices go up very often. Just a note of warning that if you are served by a plump bespectacled man who seem to often go through menopausal mood swings; could be be chirpy or rude , please ensure you get a receipt from him and verify the entries. He tends to make errors at the till and often charge items not purchased or items that do not match up with actual and prices charged are usually higher than what they should. Not sure if it is dishonesty or carelessness but please ask for a receipt and check when served by him. He will also dump all the items in a plastic bag in a floppy manner so take care if you have soft items like tofu and alike. With such service, there are many better Asian shops in the vicinity. A last resort kind of place but a haven for new migrants.
The man with glasses that works at this shop on Sunday at the counter needs to improve his customer service skills. No eye contact, no smiles and did not even say thank you when you are making payment. It's more like I owed him money sort of attitude. He even throws groceries item in the plastic bags and not placing them in the bag. How rude!
I prefer to go there any other days but Sundays.
Reasonably priced and well stocked Asian groceries but many items on shelves not price tagged and subject to arbitrary pricing at check out counter. When one senior staff member is on duty at check out counter, they can be most rude and in your face.
Soonyyap, you are absolutely right. I agree with your review of Willeton Seafood in Willetton 100%. I certainly hope to see an improvement in their pricing and also the staff's attitude.
