Wilpena Pound, located in South Australias Flinders Ranges, is a natural amphitheatre of mountains 17km long by 7km wide. Shaped by the weathering and uplifting of land this extraordinary landscape is 800 million years old.

While the scenery might be rugged, Wilpena Pound Resort is an Outback oasis. Located 429km north of Adelaide the resort offers the only accommodation choice inside the Flinders Ranges National Park and blends effortlessly into the landscape, providing a comfortable base from which to explore the Flinders Ranges.

A haven of warm outback hospitality, accommodation consists of 4 different room types, all benefitting from an extensive refurbishment. The rooms vary in size and style and range from studio rooms to suites with kitchen facilities.

With a restaurant, bar, swimming pool, campground, visitor information centre and general store, the resort is superbly equipped for both short- and long-term visitors to the area.
