The Australian Yong Chun Pai (Wing Chun in Mandarin) Kung Fu Alliance. The oldest established YongChunSchool on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. Our principal John Brixey established the School in 1989, over twenty years ago, and continues to lead the school to this very day.

Yong Chun is one of the few self defence systems that teaches the ability to strike with the fist and leg simultaneously, enhancing its effectiveness. As taught by the axiom (Leg for leg, hand for hand). Yong Chun is often referred to as not a strength based defence training system, however like all good quality Kung-Fu it requires stamina which is facilitated through many series of reciprocating two man sets, which affords the students an element of realism in differing situations and stimuli.

Completion of training from the novice to proficiency/instructor using our structured training routines is approximately four to six years. This depends on personal commitment and includes all of the Yong Chun Weapons sets and dummy forms
